Microwave Embedded Circuit
And System Laboratory

Est. March 2007

MECAS LAB was established in March 2007 at Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Korea. Under the direction of Prof. Donghyun Baek, the laboratory focuses on the design and development of RF, analog, and mixed-mode integrated circuits and systems.

Core Research Missions
  • Radar On a Chip for 10 GHz Motion Sensor, 24G Multipurpose Radar, 77–81G Automobile Radar
  • Millimeter-wave circuit and system design for 5G, 60G WPAN
  • Novel transceiver design for ultralow-power communication (LTE, GPS, WIFI, NFC)
  • Analog and mixed-mode ICs including Digital PLL, Low Power PLL, Delta-Sigma ADC, PMIC
